Pearls of Adriatic: Montenegro and Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik – Budva – Cetinje – Kotor – Ston – Korčula 6 days
1st day: DUBROVNIK – BUDVA
Arrival to Dubrovnik airport. Transfer to Montenegro, Budva-Becici resort. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
2nd day: BUDVA – CETINJE – NJEGUŠI – BUDVA
A trip around Montenegro – a country of great natural beauty and immense cultural heritage. Sightseeing of Budva old town, stop at Sv.Stefan for panoramic view, visit of Cetinje, old royal capital of Montenegro. Refreshment and snack in the village of Njegusi. Return to hotel, overnight.
3rd day: KOTOR – PERAST – GOSPA OD ŠKRPJELA – BUDVA
Admire scenery of the Kotor Bay: gray-white high mountains enveloping the fjord with miniature islands dotted along mirror-like water in the bay. Visit to the ancient town Kotor (UNESCO-heritage), the pearl of the medieval Mediterranean. Ride to the small village of Perast. From Perast ride by boat to the islet of Gospa od Skrpjela, back to Perast. Return to Budva.
4th day: BUDVA – DUBROVNIK
Transfer from hotel in Budva to Dubrovnik. Sightseeing of Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful cities at the Adriatic (UNESCO-heritage). A magnificent panorama of the unique historical centre, full of cultural features of interest, appears in front of you from the monumental town walls, which are 2km long and were built between 11th and 17th century. We recommend walk on the city’s main street, Stradun, visit to the Rector’s palace, the church of St Vlaho, the Cathedral, Franciscan monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe (14th century). Return to hotel, overnight.
5th day: DUBROVNIK – STON – KORČULA
Full day excursion to Peljesac peninsula, renowned for its spectacular coastline, small towns and wine production. Sightseeing of Ston, beautiful old town surrounded with impressive town walls. Since the ancient times, Ston has been the place famous for its exceptional selection of seashells and seafood that are grown in the bay of Mali Ston. Ride by ferry boat to the town of Korcula on Korcula island. Korcula town is an architectural example of an excellently preserved medieaval town, known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Return to hotel in Dubrovnik, overnight.
6th day: DUBROVNIK
Transfer to the airport.
