1 Day – arrival
The tour starts in Zagreb, capital of Croatia.
2 Day – ZAGREB
Morning city tour of Zagreb, including the Cathedral, which two high bell towers have become the symbol of Zagreb; St.Mark’s Church with its picturesque roof featuring Croatian coats of arms; the Stone Gate, the entrance to the Upper Town; the Lotršćak Tower… Zagreb is also well-known for its “Licitar”, small, colorfully decorated honey-cakes. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
3 Day – PLITVICE LAKES
Departure to the national park Plitvice Lakes. Its 16 beautiful lakes spill into each other in cascades and thundering waterfalls. The network of paths and bridges permits pleasant and safe walking during the visit. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
4 Day – TROGIR – SPLIT
Ride to Dalmatia and sightseeing of the beautiful town of Trogir, a remarkable example of urban continuity from the Hellenistic period. Afterwards sightseeing of Split, beautiful Dalmatian city with the famous Diokletian Palace, an unique monument of Roman architecture from the 3rd century. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
5 Day – MOSTAR
Depature to Mostar, famous for its elegant stone arch bridge, built in 16th century on the river Neretva (UNESCO-heritage). Mostar is truly a place where Eats meets the West. In the afternoon ride to Sarajevo, sightseeing of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, famous for its mosques, markets and bazaars. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
6 Day – DUBROVNIK
Ride to Dubrovnik (UNESCO-heritage), one of the most beautiful cities on the Adriatic coast, a treasury rich in cultural and historical monuments dating back a thousand years. The city is surrounded by 2 km of walls with towers built between 11th and 17th century. Walk on the city’s main street, Stradun, visit to the Rector’s palace, the church of St Vlaho, the Cathedral, Franciscan monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe (14th century). Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
7 Day – MONTENEGRO
Full day excursion to Montenegro, which offers an unforgettable experience, exceptional natural beauty in combination with rich history and culture. Drive around the Kotor Bay with its numerous small settlements, visit to the beautiful old town of Kotor, as well as of Cetinje, once capital of Montenegro. Return to Dubrovnik.
8 Day – ŠIBENIK
Departure to Šibenik, well-known for its the famous Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral (UNESCO-heritage), constructed of stone through the unique method of assembling previously precisely cut stone sections. Afterwards visit to the National park Krka Waterfalls. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
9 Day – OPATIJA
Departure to Opatija, resort with the longest tradition in tourism in Croatia. Well maintained public gardens, the coastal promenade, well-kept beaches provide a stunning backdrop for the villas and hotels. Accommodation in hotel, overnight.
10 Day – LJUBLJANA
Departure to Slovenia. Sightseeing of Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia: the medieval castle on a hill above the old town centre, numerous Baroque buildings, pittoresque bridges across the Ljubljanica river. Afternoon free time on the beautiful Bled Lake, surrounded by Julian Alps.
11 Day – departure
Departure for home-journey.
