DAY 1: ZAGREB
Arrival to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
DAY 2: ZAGREB sightseeing
In the morning we will introduce you with Zagreb’s most prominent sights such as the Cathedral, which two high bell towers have become the symbol of town. St. Mark’s Church with its picturesque roof featuring Croatian coats of arms and the Stone Gate that keeps tradition of lighting candles. On our sightseeing you will also see romantic Upper Town with the Lotrščak Tower.
Zagreb is also well known for its “Licitar”, small, colourfully decorated honey-cakes, that can be a perfect souvenir for your friends or yourself…
DAY 3: ZAGREB – KRAPINA Neanderthal Museum – ZAGREB
Excursion to Krapina, well known for its Neanderthal Museum, one of the most modern museums in this part of Europe. Find out the interesting story about the life and culture of the Krapina Neanderthal, enjoy the many multimedia components, as well as very specific architecture. The museum is accessible to wheelchairs for persons with an escort. Return to Zagreb.
DAY 4: ZAGREB
Relaxing day. Free time for shopping or exploring cities numerous green parks: Zrinjevac, Maksimir or the park around Jarun Lake. There is also Sljeme forest path, a 800m barrier free path through the wood, near the small river.
If you are more culture lovers, there are few museums that can suite your interests. Modern art museum, Klovićevi dvori art gallery or something completely different, Museum of broken relationships. These museums are wheelchair accessible.
If you are more scientific oriented than we will recommend you a Technical museum.
DAY 5: ZAGREB – SAMOBOR – ZAGREB
Excursion to the nearby small picturesque town of Samobor. Visit the pleasant easy accessible Samobor main square with many cafes known for good coffee and „kremšnita“, a custard slice. There is nice path leading from the town centre, across small bridge to the well maintained park inviting for a nice walk. Return to the hotel.
DAY 6: ZAGREB
